Fulbright Visiting Scholar, 2020-2021
The Fulbright experience meant a lot to me. I had the chance to learn what true music teaching means and, through research, to broaden my musical understanding getting to realize limitless perspectives of new music techniques.
I enjoyed feeling the freedom of expressed thoughts and saw no limits in creating music. The academic interactions were spiced up with important travels and decorated with amazing people who massively contributed to our intercultural, multidimensional ways of thinking / living / interacting.
I deeply encourage anybody to apply for this life changing Fulbright Scholarship. Thank you, Fulbright, IIE, US and Romanian supporters.
Fulbright is not just about research and academic events. At least for me, it was also about meeting new people, experiencing the local food, trying to understand different values. For two months my wife and daughter (she is 9) were in Athens with me, and together we were able to travel to Orlando, San Francisco, and Washington. The experiences we had together were extraordinary, and my daughter was impressed enough to declare that she plans to come to college at UGA, probably around 2032.
