2023 Global Health Catalyst Summit
Dr. Mihaela Tinca Udristioiu was one of the outstanding, powerful speakers for the 2023 Global Health Catalyst Summit at the University of Pennsylvania (May 4-6, 2023). The theme was “Cancer Moonshot 2.0.” This international event was focused on high-impact collaborations to advance global health and development. The summit’s motto, “Come Learn, Network, and Collaborate,” represents an invitation for cooperation, catalyzing win-win collaborations to reduce disparities.
Dr. Udristioiu, who is currently a Fulbright Research Scholar at Georgia Southern University, spoke about “GHC projects in Romania: Where is a will, there is a way,” presenting an extraordinary achievement, a hospital for oncological children built by “Dăruiește viață” Association from private donations and a big dream that has just started to become a reality, to increase the quality of education and research in Medical Physics in Romania.
