Drexel University representative Kevin Murray (Associate Director of International Admissions) visited Bucharest this past week to connect with Romanian high school students. The FEAC/EducationUSA Romania team was happy to meet him and assist him in his outreach efforts.
We accompanied our guest to two of the finest high schools in Bucharest – “Tudor Vianu” National College of Computer Science and the International Computer High School of Bucharest -, where an average 100 students (mainly 10th and 11th graders) gathered to hear the presentations, eager to learn more about the Drexel community and the path to studying at this prestigious U.S. school.
The attendees, mainly high school students, had a chance to learn more about Drexel’s rich academic offering, with its unique emphasis on experiential learning, the admission process and the generous financial aid available for highly competitive applicants, via the Drexel Global Scholar program. We were happy to learn that a Romanian student was among the recipients of the coveted DGS grant this year.
We took the opportunity to tell participants a few words about the resources awaiting them at FEAC/EducationUSA Romania and ways we can help them navigate the undergraduate application process.
