Fulbright Alumna Ioana Mischie has written and directed a new innovative VR project titled I Wonder if Peace Knows How to Fight. The project was showcased at the Geneva Digital Market (November 4-7, 2024), as part of the XR Coproduction Session, being one of only 15 innovative projects selected from around the globe this year.
This VR experience explores the intricate balance between harmony and conflict, offering participants a deeply immersive narrative through cutting-edge virtual reality technology. I Wonder if Peace Knows How to Fight invites audiences to reflect on the philosophical complexities of peace and its resilience in times of discord.
The project was initially conceptualized in 2017 during Ioana’s Fulbright scholarship at the USC School of Cinematic Arts, benefiting from mentorship by David Nelson of Mixed Reality Labs.
